"I've been sourcing glass smoking accessories since 2017 — long before dabbing went mainstream. When we first started building out this collection, finding genuinely good quartz at a fair price was a real challenge. Every product here has been selected based on hands-on testing, material quality, and real feedback from customers across more than 30 countries. We don't stock something just because it looks good in a photo. It has to perform."

Why Your Dab Accessories Matter More Than You Think
Customers have told Rahul they spent $200 on a beautiful dab rig but were still getting harsh, wasteful dabs. Nine times out of ten, the problem isn't the rig — it's the accessories. A low-quality nail that can't hold heat, a missing carb cap, or a torch that can't get the banger to temperature consistently will ruin the experience no matter how good your rig is.
Since 2017, Stoned Genie has shipped dab accessories to customers across the United States, the UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, and dozens of other countries. That global perspective has shaped how this collection is sourced and curated — accessories tested across conditions and built to deliver consistently. If you're still building out your rig, browse our full dab rig collection or our dab rigs under $50.
Quartz Bangers — The Foundation of Every Good Dab
The banger is the single most important component in your dabbing setup. It's where the vaporization actually happens, and the material it's made from determines the flavor, the efficiency, and the longevity of every session. Stoned Genie only carries quartz — not ceramic, not titanium. Here's why that matters:
Titanium
Heats fast but imparts a metallic note to the vapor, especially at higher temperatures. Purists tend to avoid it.
Ceramic
Holds heat beautifully and is completely flavor-neutral, but it's brittle. One bad heat cycle or an accidental knock and it's done.
Quartz
The sweet spot — genuinely flavor-neutral, thermally durable, and heats evenly. Look for wall thickness, weld quality at the joint, and clarity. Cloudy or milky quartz signals lower-grade material.
Pro tip: always season a new quartz banger before your first real dab. Heat it to around 400°F, drop in a tiny amount of concentrate, let it coat the surface, then wipe it clean with a Q-tip while it's still warm. Do this 2–3 times — it conditions the quartz and noticeably improves flavor from session one.
Dab Accessories We're Known For
Hand-tested by Rahul, factory-direct pricing, and built to actually perform — not just look good in a photo.
SG Premium Bucket Quartz Banger
Our house-branded premium option. Slightly thicker walls, tighter tolerances at the welds, and a flat-top rim that creates a better seal with carb caps. The same quality Rahul looks for in every banger — wall thickness, weld quality, and clear, low-grade-free quartz — built into our own design.
Pairs With PearlsDirectional Glass Carb Cap
Features an angled stem inside the cap that directs airflow in a specific direction. Rotate it slowly during your dab and you create a vortex effect inside the banger that spins the concentrate across the surface. If you're running terp pearls, this is the cap to pair them with.
Game Changer6mm Ruby Terp Pearls
Lab-grown ruby spheres that sit inside your banger alongside your concentrate. Paired with a directional carb cap, the airflow makes the pearls spin — distributing heat evenly and increasing vaporization surface area. The result: lower-temp dabs, better flavor, less wasted concentrate.
Alternative SetupNectar Collector with Box
A completely different way to dab — heat the tip with a torch and dip it directly into your concentrate container. No banger to purchase separately, more portable, and great for consuming directly from a silicone dish. A compelling entry point if you're not ready to commit to a full rig setup.
Carb Caps — The Accessory That Changed How We Dab
If there's a single accessory that makes the biggest difference in the dabbing experience, it's the carb cap. Without one, you're fighting physics — heating the banger to a high temperature for full vaporization, but those high temps cost you in terpene degradation, harsh vapor, and a burnt taste that lingers.
By placing a cap over the top of your banger right after you drop in your concentrate, you restrict airflow and lower the pressure inside the bucket. That pressure drop allows your concentrate to vaporize at a significantly lower temperature — usually 50–100°F lower — without leaving residue behind. The result is smoother, cooler, more flavorful vapor and less waste. Browse our full carb cap collection to see every style we carry, from bubble caps to directional and novelty designs.
Dab Tools — Handle Your Concentrate Like a Professional
A dab tool is a small thing that makes a surprisingly large difference. Trying to work with a glob of wax using improvised tools — a toothpick, a knife, anything you have lying around — is a fast path to burned fingers, wasted product, and frustration.
A good dabber is precisely engineered for the task. The tip geometry matters: a pointed or tapered tip is best for picking up crumbly shatter or sugar wax, while a flat spatula-style tip is ideal for softer, gooier consistencies like live resin or batter. Some dabbers are double-ended to handle multiple consistencies. Browse our full dab tools collection for metal, rainbow, glass, and novelty designs.
"Everything in this collection is designed to work together. A quality quartz banger paired with the right carb cap and a couple of terp pearls isn't just an upgrade — it completely changes how concentrates taste and how efficiently you're vaporizing. The dabbing community deserves better than overpriced gear with no real expertise behind it. That's the Stoned Genie difference."
— Rahul Lavingia, StonedGenie.comHow to Use These Accessories Together — A Complete Session Walkthrough
Here's how a proper session flows when you're using these accessories correctly:
-
1
Load Your Dab Tool Use your metal or glass dabber to scoop a rice-grain-sized amount of concentrate. Beginners consistently overdo it — start small.
-
2
Place Your Terp Pearls Drop 1–2 ruby pearls into your clean banger before heating.
-
3
Heat the Banger Using your torch, apply flame to the bottom and sides of the banger. For a standard quartz banger with a thick bottom, this typically takes 20–30 seconds of consistent heat. Stop when the banger begins to glow faintly.
-
4
Let It Cool This is the step beginners always skip. High-temp dabs (above 600°F) will burn your concentrate, destroy terpenes, and irritate your throat. Let the banger cool for 30–60 seconds after heating. Use a timer until you develop a feel for it.
-
5
Drop the Dab Apply your concentrate to the inside of the banger using your dabber. It should vaporize immediately and quietly — not combust or crackle.
-
6
Cap It Immediately Place your carb cap over the banger the moment concentrate goes in. If using a directional cap, begin rotating it slowly — the pearls will spin, and vapor production continues as the pressure drops inside the banger.
-
7
Inhale Slowly and Steadily A slow, controlled draw is more efficient than pulling hard. You want the cap to maintain a seal while you inhale.
-
8
Clean the Banger While It's Warm Don't let it sit. While the banger is still warm (not hot), use a cotton swab — dry first, then one dipped in isopropyl alcohol — to wipe out any residue. A clean banger every session is the single best thing you can do to preserve flavor over time.

Frequently Asked Questions
What dab accessories do I need to start dabbing?
At minimum: a quartz banger that fits your rig's joint size and angle, a butane torch, and a dab tool. Add a carb cap and you have a complete functional setup. Everything else — terp pearls, reclaim catchers, specialty carb caps — is an upgrade, not a requirement.
What's the difference between a 14mm and 18mm banger?
This refers to the joint size on your rig. The vast majority of dab rigs use 14mm joints, which is why most of our bangers are 14mm. Check your rig's specifications before ordering — if you're unsure, measure the inner diameter of the joint opening. Our 14mm male bangers fit female 14mm joints on the rig.
What's the difference between a 45° and 90° joint banger?
The angle refers to the bend in the banger's neck. Your rig's joint is either angled at 45 degrees or comes straight out at 90 degrees relative to the base. Using the wrong angle will make your banger sit crooked or point in the wrong direction. Most mini rigs use 90° joints; many larger rigs use 45°. When in doubt, check your rig's product listing or measure the angle visually.
How do I clean a quartz banger?
After each use, while the banger is still warm, wipe out residue with a dry cotton swab, then follow with one dipped lightly in 99% isopropyl alcohol. For a deep clean, soak the banger in isopropyl alcohol for 20–30 minutes and rinse thoroughly with warm water. Never use abrasive tools on the inside of the bucket — they scratch the quartz surface and affect flavor.
What temperature should I dab at?
For flavor-focused low-temp dabbing: 450–530°F. For a balance of vapor production and flavor: 530–580°F. Above 600°F you're in high-temp territory — more vapor, harsher hit, and degraded terpenes. Our ruby terp pearls work especially well for low-temp dabbing. Invest in an inexpensive infrared thermometer if you want precision — it makes a real difference.
How do terp pearls improve my dab?
They create movement inside the banger as you inhale, aided by a spinning carb cap, distributing concentrate across the heated surface rather than letting it pool. This means more complete vaporization, better flavor, and less residue left behind. They work best with directional or spinner-style carb caps like the one in our featured products above.
