Dimensions & Capacity
This beaker bong stands 10 inches tall, striking the perfect balance between visual presence and practical everyday use. The base diameter is wide enough to keep things stable even on a cluttered table, and the beaker chamber holds enough water to cool and filter your smoke without being cumbersome. Unlike the 5-inch travel pieces or the 16+ inch statement rigs that collect dust, this 10-incher is the Goldilocks zone—it looks incredible and actually gets used.
Glass Quality & Thickness
The walls are made from heavy borosilicate glass, which means it can handle temperature changes without cracking and won't degrade from regular use. You'll feel the weight and solidity when you pick it up—that's how you know it's not gas station quality. The gradient color work (from deep purple through to warm amber and orange) is hand-applied during production, so every piece has its own slight variation. The white clouds and heart designs are painted on with precision, and they're sealed into the glass finish so they won't fade or chip off. Bowl Piece & Down Stem Specs
This bong comes equipped with a 14mm sun bowl piece in vibrant yellow glass—perfectly matched to the base sun design. The key functional detail is the 4.5-inch down stem, which is the right depth for a 10-inch beaker. The down stem reaches far enough into the water chamber to filter properly without sitting so deep that you lose water capacity or have to refill it constantly. If you've ever used a bong where the down stem was too short and barely touched the water, or too long and wasted half your chamber, you'll appreciate that this is dialed in. The 14mm joint is standard and secure, with zero wobble when the bowl is seated. Looking for other bowl piece styles? We stock everything from simple spoons to specialty shapes, all in 14mm.
Ice Catcher Feature
The built-in ice catcher sits near the top of the tube and lets you drop ice cubes straight into the bong for even smoother, colder hits. The ice melts down and chills the smoke as it travels through the chamber. It's a small detail that makes a real difference if you're sensitive to hot smoke or just want the smoothest possible experience. If you're already into ice catches, you know how much they level up a piece.
Why This Down Stem Length Matters
A 4.5-inch down stem in a 10-inch beaker gives you the ideal balance. You get enough water contact for genuine filtration—the smoke actually has to bubble through and cool—without making the piece annoying to clean or refill. Combined with the beaker's wide base and ice catcher, you're getting serious cooling and filtering action. If you ever want to swap out the bowl piece, 14mm is the standard size, so you've got plenty of options available. But honestly, the sun bowl that comes with this is perfectly proportioned for the piece.
Design Features
The beaker base keeps the center of gravity low, which means stability and less chance of tipping over. The sunset gradient isn't just paint; it's color-shifted glass that catches light beautifully. Those white clouds aren't decorative either—they break up the visual weight and add a dreamlike quality that makes this feel like functional art. The sun motif ties the whole aesthetic together, from the base design to the bowl piece. If this aesthetic speaks to you, you might also love our girly bongs and cute pipes collections, which share that same intentional design energy.
What's Included
You're getting the 10" beaker bong fully assembled with the 14mm sun bowl piece and 4.5-inch down stem already installed and ready to use. The ice catcher is built into the tube—no additional parts needed. It's a complete setup out of the box. All you need to add is water, ice if you want it, and whatever you're smoking.
Care & Maintenance
Clean this piece regularly with isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt—the salt acts as an abrasive to break up buildup in the base and tube. Pay special attention to that 4.5-inch down stem since it takes the most abuse and residue buildup. A long pipe cleaner is your friend here. The ice catcher doesn't require special care; just rinse it during your regular cleaning routine. Rinse thoroughly with warm water after cleaning. Avoid rapid temperature changes (don't pull it from the freezer and run hot water through it). Store it somewhere it won't get knocked over; borosilicate glass is durable but not indestructible. A small storage bag or padded box keeps it safe if you travel with it. We stock cleaning supplies and accessories to keep your glass looking fresh.
Why This Piece Stands Out
You can find a plain glass bong anywhere. What makes this one worth the shelf space is the execution—the color gradient is smooth and intentional, the quality of the glass means it'll last for years, and it actually performs as well as it looks. At this price point compared to what headshops charge for similar color work, a complete 14mm setup with a 4.5-inch down stem, and an ice catcher built in, it's solid value. If you're building out your collection, pair this with a quality grinder and rolling papers for a complete setup.
Sunset vs. Sunrise: Which One?
If you're deciding between this and our 10" Sunrise Beaker Bong, it comes down to aesthetic and what speaks to you. The sunset piece goes from purple and hearts to warm amber and orange—it's introspective and moody. The sunrise version goes yellow to teal with clouds and hearts—it's optimistic and energetic. Both are built to the same standard with the same dimensions, 14mm bowl setup, 4.5-inch down stem, and ice catcher. Most people who love one aesthetic eventually grab the other too, so don't stress the choice too much.
