Dimensions & Capacity
This 10-inch tall beaker bong hits that sweet spot between impressive presence and genuinely practical everyday use. The base is wide and stable, and the chamber holds enough water to give you smooth, filtered hits without requiring the kind of serious lung capacity that the 16+ inch rigs demand. If you've been thinking about upgrading from a smaller piece, this is the natural next step.
The Sunrise Gradient & Color Work
The gradient is what makes this piece special—it starts as a warm golden yellow at the top and transitions through lime green and then into deep teal at the base. It's the reverse of the sunset journey, which means if you're collecting both aesthetic variations, they tell different stories. The white clouds and yellow heart designs are painted with precision and sealed into the glass finish, so they'll stay crisp for years. This is hand-applied color work, so every piece has its own slight variation in where the clouds land and how the gradient transitions. That's not a defect; that's what makes it real.
Bowl Piece & Down Stem Specs
This bong comes equipped with a 14mm sun bowl piece in bright yellow glass—perfectly matched to the base sun design. The key functional detail is the 4-inch down stem, which is the right depth for a 10-inch beaker. The down stem reaches far enough into the water chamber to filter properly without sitting so deep that you lose water capacity or have to fill it constantly. If you've ever used a bong where the down stem was too short and barely touched the water, or too long and wasted half your chamber, you'll appreciate that this is dialed in. The 14mm joint is standard and secure, with zero wobble when the bowl is seated. Looking for other bowl piece styles? We stock everything from simple spoons to specialty shapes, all in 14mm.
Why This Down Stem Length Matters
A 4-inch down stem in a 10-inch beaker gives you the ideal balance. You get enough water contact for genuine filtration—the smoke actually has to bubble through and cool—without making the piece annoying to clean or refill. If you ever want to swap out the bowl piece, 14mm is the standard size, so you've got plenty of options available. But honestly, the sun bowl that comes with this is perfectly proportioned for the piece.
Why Beaker Bongs Work
The beaker shape keeps the center of gravity low, which means this bong won't tip over when you're reaching for something or setting it down in a hurry. The wide base also gives you more water surface area for better filtration. Combined with that 4-inch down stem, you're getting serious cooling and filtering action. If you're comparing this to straight tube designs, the beaker wins on stability and water efficiency. Check out our full beaker bong collection if you're still deciding on the shape.
Glass Quality & Durability
Borosilicate glass throughout, which means it handles temperature changes without cracking and doesn't degrade from regular use. You'll feel the weight and density when you hold this piece. It's the difference between a bong that lasts five years and one that lasts fifteen. The construction is solid; there are no thin spots or corners cut for cost. If you're looking at other cool bongs or iridescent designs, this level of glass quality is standard across our whole collection.
What's Included & What You Need
You're getting the 10" beaker bong fully assembled with the 14mm sun bowl piece and 4-inch down stem already installed and ready to use. All you need to add is water and whatever you're smoking. No additional slides or stems to hunt down—it's a complete setup out of the box. If you want to stock up on accessories, we carry cleaning supplies, glass pipes for backup, and all the usual smoking essentials. If you're building a complete session setup, pair this with a quality grinder and some rolling papers.
Care & Maintenance
Clean this piece regularly with isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt—the salt is the abrasive that breaks up buildup in the water chamber and base. Pay special attention to that 4-inch down stem since it takes the most abuse and residue buildup. A long pipe cleaner is your friend here. Rinse thoroughly with warm water after every cleaning session. Don't shock the glass with temperature extremes (no hot water on a cold piece or vice versa). Store it somewhere it won't get knocked over; while borosilicate is durable, it's not unbreakable. A padded storage bag is worth the investment if you transport it.
Sunrise vs. Sunset: Which One?
If you're deciding between this and our 10" Sunset Beaker Bong, it comes down to aesthetic and what speaks to you. The sunset piece goes from purple and hearts to warm amber and orange—it's introspective and moody. This sunrise version goes yellow to teal with clouds and hearts—it's optimistic and energetic. Both are built to the same standard with the same dimensions and 14mm bowl setup. Most people who love one aesthetic eventually grab the other too, so don't stress the choice too much.
